Well, I've been busy. Phil said the glue and paint were crap. I agree on the glue. The paint, not so much. The job on this isn't perfect, but on my next model I've been using a flat brush and that works better.
First off, this oddly shaped wheel appears to be correct...
Next up, the paint. The first coat, slightly thinned with plain tap water.
When dry, we apply coat #2
And then follows #3
Definately getting there, but not yet.

And then we're done. Not perfect by far, but for the purpose of this build, I'm happy with the result.
